Here are some basic steps to help you get started with mobile internet:
- Check that the time and date on your phone is correct.
- For dual SIM phones, check that the correct SIM is the default for Mobile Data. Go to Settings > Sim manager (or similar) and set your preferred SIM for Mobile Data
- Ensure APN is set to internet. If it is missing:
- For Android – Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Network > Access Point Names. Create a new APN with the name "Vodafone" and APN "internet", then save and select it.
- For iPhone – Go to Settings > Mobile > Mobile Data Network and set the APN field to internet.
- Check that you have an active data balance. To subscribe to a data plan, dial *555#.
TIP: To avoid per MB data charges on your credit, dial *555# to disable Pay As You Go. This ensures mobile internet works and that charges will only apply when you have an active data plan.
