If you are certain that a scam has happened, report the matter immediately with the Police and with Vodafone. Vodafone can only assist with holding the funds if they remain in the receiver’s account but note this is not guaranteed if funds have already been used. Your point of contact on progress of your case remains with Police.
Vodafone cautions all M-PAiSA account owners to never share M-PAiSA PIN or OTP Code with anyone and always ensure you are transacting the correct amount, to the correct M-PAiSA number, and with a trusted person or company before sending money.
